Wetlands are such amazingly valuable habitats, both for people and our environment. We definitely need more wetlands in our growing urban areas to provide invaluable ecological services as well as the connection to nature that we crave as human beings. I'm interested in how we can balance these benefits with potential downsides that can be associated with wetlands, such as mosquitoes, to better integrate these habitats into urban areas around the world.
