About

I've loved the watery world since I was a child, which has led me along a convoluted path of explorations finally landing me in freshwater ecology. I completed my PhD at The University of Sydney, looking at urban wetland habitats and how we might reduce the mosquito risks associated with them. 

Previous experiences as a consulting freshwater ecologist and riding my bicycle around Australia have given me a passion for applying knowledge to achieve real-world solutions. Learn more about my work by checking out my current research and publications.
